Judith Sloan, Contributing Economics Editor at The Australian.
Judith is an economist and company director. She holds degrees from the University of Melbourne and the London School of Economics. She has held a number of government appointments, including Commissioner of the Productivity Commission; Commissioner of the Australian Fair Pay Commission; and Deputy Chairman of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
Simon Breheny – Director of Policy at the Institute of Public Affairs
Simon has been published in the Australian, the Australian Financial Review, the Sydney Morning Herald, the Age, the Daily Telegraph, the Herald Sun, the Canberra Times, the Sunday Tasmanian, the Guardian and the Punch. He is regularly interviewed on radio around the country in relation to legal rights and freedom of speech.
Ms Lana Assaf, Senior Manager – Environment – RPS Australia.
RPS is an international consultancy providing solutions in infrastructure, urban growth, energy, mining and natural resource management. Lana has extensive experience in the environmental industry and has worked on major infrastructure projects for rail, roads and ports. Prior to RPS Lana was the National Safety and Environment Manager for Infigen Energy, an ASX listed utility scale renewable energy company, which is a developer, owner and operator of renewable energy assets. Lana is an Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia Accredited Verifier and holds an MSc and BSc (Hons).
Paul Gleeson – Aurecon Group.
Paul is a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers Australia. He has worked exclusively in the field of energy and is the leader of 150 Energy specialists of Aurecon’s Energy business on the East Coast of Australia. Paul and his team have played instrumental roles in some of the most significant projects in the Australian energy market.
