Welcome to NOOSA alive!, a 10 day festival of theatre, literature, music, dance, film, visual arts, cuisine and barrier-breaking forums – in one of Australia’s most enviable destinations: Noosa Heads, Queensland.

Founded by prominent Australian playwright David Williamson, author Kristin Williamson, internationally renowned violinist Brett Dean, environmental activist Dr Michael Gloster, restaurateur Leonie Palmer-Fisher together with Rick Clayton and Ros McCauley.

NOOSA alive! celebrates the region’s cultural heritage, hosted by Gubbi Gubbi Elder and historian Dr Eve Fesl and renowned dance troupe, the Gubbi Gubbi Dancers. Opening the 19th consecutive festival atop the stunning Laguna Lookout, join us in acknowledging the rich cultural legacy of the past, celebrating the present and envisioning future in this incredible part of the world.

Due to limited parking available at the lookout, attendees 

are encouraged to register for the free shuttle service 

which will operate from the J Theatre from 4:00pm
