SAHARA BECK

I HAVEN'T DONE A THING TODAY

Supported by Angharad Drake

Wed, 24 Jul 2019

7:00PM - 9:30PM

NOOSA alive! is absolutely thrilled to be welcoming the amazing bombshell Sahara Beck back to the Sunshine Coast who, after taking off with her soaring single ‘Here We Go Again’, returns with her new red-hot release;

‘I Haven’t Done A Thing Today’.

Produced by ARIA Award-nominated magic-maker Tony Buchen (Mansionair, Courtney Barnett, Montaigne), ‘I Haven’t Done A Thing Today’ delivers an irresistible art-pop anthem that’s impossible not to smile and bop to - in your bedroom, in the car, on the street. Written on a lazy day with her brother in their family home, the song reveals a dizzying stream-of-consciousness that flits between wry observations and random thoughts about partying too much, unjudged sexuality, making mistakes and more.

Opening the evening will be the delicate folk musings of fellow Carol Lloyd award nominee - Angharad Drake. Having just finished up her tour supporting Tom Cooney, Drake has been stunning audiences with her superb acoustic songs across the country.
