Bring your picnic rug, gather the family and enjoy an unforgettable afternoon of music, entertainment and community celebration on the beautiful Noosa River.

The showcase features the Top 12 finalists from the 2026 STARS ALIVE! Talent Competition, with outstanding young singers, musicians, and bands aged 8 to 18 competing live on the River Stage for a share of $1,750 in prize money and the chance to launch their performing careers.

But the entertainment doesn’t stop there.

Families can spread out a picnic rug on the riverbank or enjoy lunch from a fantastic selection of food trucks while taking in hours of free entertainment. Children will love the animal petting zoo, colourful stilt walkers, fairy floss, free lawn games and dedicated kids’ play area, making it the perfect Sunday outing for the whole family.

The afternoon will also feature performances from former STARS ALIVE! winners Sari Abbott and Fin Zerner, plus a special guest appearance by a multi-Golden Guitar-winning Australian country music superstar, ensuring entertainment for every generation.

Now in its fifth year, STARS ALIVE! has established itself as a genuine launching pad for young artists while becoming one of the Festival’s favourite community events.
