Close Encounters is a rare and intimate experience, as audiences experience the secrets of card cheating, as Harry reveals the secrets behind his skills as a sought-after security weapon for the world’s top casinos.
Before participating in the experience, audiences will be asked to sign an agreement of confidentiality. Harry explains, “Audience members will join me around a small table, as I reveal – step by step – how magicians, card cheaters and mentalists fool the world.
About Harry Milas
Australia’s most experienced Sleight of Hand Artist, and Magician, Harry Milas.
Milas has been performing sleight of hand since he was four; he would sit with magic books propped open for hours trying to master new tricks.
Now, at 32, Harry has mastered the arts of sleight of hand, and mentalism, with a unique ability to entertain and shock audiences through his masterful skill.
Through his years of work, Harry has been able to master these complex practices’, which has led him to a unique line of work, enlisted by some of the world’s largest casinos to detect cheating and fraud.
From Las Vegas to the Middle East, no matter the stakes and pressure, Harry has successfully identified individuals whether it be players or dealers, who try to outsmart ‘The House’.
As a method actor by trade, Harry’s meteoric rise through the ranks in Australia’s magician scene has been elusive and dynamic.
His signature close-up show ‘The Unfair Advantage’ won the award for Best Magic and garnered five-star reviews at The Adelaide Fringe, along with consecutive residencies since 2023 within The Pylon of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sold-Out performance/s.
He has appeared on the Today Show, Channel 10, ABC and The Disney Channel, and has been lucky enough to study with some of the world’s leading thinkers in the magic community.
Harry’s seance at Bondi Festival was a sell-out hit, along with being a multiple national champion of theatre sports, Harry’s resume continues to impress, more recently with his residency at Red-Line Productions created
‘Cascadia’, a show where he infamously made an audience member disappear.
